I LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of year!!

September 28th, 2011

So here it is again!!  I am so excited….Fall, Pumpkin Lattes, Family, Baking, Thanksgiving, Pecan Pie (Mmmmm), Turkey, Family, Winter, Peppermint Mochas, Hot Chocolate, Snuggling, Family, Christmas and in Phoenix……  Wonderful Weather that we suffer 6 months to enjoy!!! Oh, I’m just so excited!  Also for me as a photographer it is the most busy time of year… but I just love it.

Once again we are offering  Mini Session’s.  They will be shorter than a full session but nothing short of quality.  If you haven’t taken family Photos since last year, this is a great opportunity to take advantage of a Mini Session.  If it’s been over a year (shame on you)… don’t let another year go by.   If you have already started to think “sounds good, I’ll book a session only if _______”, then read this post.  I would be thrilled if you booked with us but, even if you book with another photographer (and there are plenty of great ones) just please be sure to take the time to have your family photographed this year! You will never regret documenting your precious family

To Kick it all off!!

Taking too many photos??

July 14th, 2011

I can not recall if I ever heard someone say… “I took too many photos!”  or ” I wish I would have taken less photos.” However I have heard numerous times … “I wish I would have brought my camera” or “I should  have taken more photos.”

I have a storage container, photo albums and in the past 5 years CD holders, not too mention more than +150GB’s on my hard drive full of photos.  I started to think;  I take way too many photos.  Until the recent death of my Uncle, I realized I do not have one photo with him or even a good photo of my Dad with his siblings, or my Mom with her siblings.  How could someone who takes too many photos be missing photos? Important Photos!

The older I get the more I value every single image.  I realize more and more what an incredible investment a camera is.  When time goes by and you loose loved ones, all you have left are photos and the memories attached to them.   In a few short years your TV will be outdated and your purse will be worn out  but you will treasure your photos more and more with each passing year.

I wanted to share this large family photo.  This was actually a wedding I photographed in May 2009.  The family had made plans for me to take a large family portrait during the wedding.  This would be a great to plan, to have a  family portrait taken during a large family gathering.  Whether you are hiring a professional or taking  your own camera along, don’t  forget to capture your precious memories, freezing that quick vapor of time.

{Jenna+Eduardo} Phoenix Wedding Photographer

June 26th, 2011

I was very excited to hear that Eduardo & Jenna were getting married. I first me Eduardo when I did his senior photos a few years ago (don’t ask to see them…. I have come so a long way in those short years). Well I was even more excited that I was available to shoot their wedding !!!   The wedding was at Phoenix First Apostolic Church.  Hope you enjoy the slideshow & photographs!

Everyone involved in this wedding was so kind and great to work with but, I will have to say these groomsmen get the award for the best groomsmen EVER!  Seriously these  guys were awesome, not one complaint from ANY of them & they were so willing!

This post is overdue but I’ts worth sharing. I love photographing seniors, especially when they are up for anything and Kayla was! Kayla is a beautiful person, inside and out. She just graduated from Tolleson High School.. She is planning to study at ASU, I can’t wait to see what the future has for her! I hope you enjoy viewing our session as much as I enjoyed capturing these photos.

Family Session with “O” Family {Phoenix Portrait Photographer}

June 1st, 2011

I am very behind in blogging… here is a session from spring.

I can usually tell within the first 5 minutes of photographing a family if they are a close knit family. Most of the families I have photographed are, but this family is definitely a close family. I really enjoyed my session with this wonderful family in Historic Glendale..

Tea Time

April 26th, 2011

The weather could not have been more beautiful in Glendale Arizona.  The kids had such a great time.  I have to admit, I was a little stressed, okay alot stressed… note to self (do not take your kids on a shoot, even if it’s with friends).  Well even with my stress we managed to take home some great shots.  We did this session at Cee Cee’s , check them out if you are every in Historic Glendale, it’s a beautiful place to go for lunch.
